TN Board of Chiropractic Examiners Elects New 2026 Leadership
Dr. Jason Hulme, D.C., DACBSP®, Dipl. Med. Ac., a Hendersonville native and nationally recognized leader in sports chiropractic, has been unanimously elected President of the TN Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE) for the 2026 term.
“It is a tremendous honor to serve the state of Tennessee in this capacity,” stated Dr. Hulme, reflecting on his election. “The mission of the Board is first and foremost to protect the public, and I take that responsibility seriously. I am grateful for the trust of my fellow board members and for the opportunity to continue serving our profession with integrity, transparency, and accountability.”
Additionally, Dr. Dale Blackwelder of Savannah, TN was elected Vice-President, and Dr. Kara Birdwell of Maryville, TN was elected Secretary. The elections took place during an official examining board meeting last Thursday.
We extend our appreciation to former TBCE president, Dr. Cole Hosenfeld of Knoxville, TN, who will now continue serving in a member position on the TBCE alongside Dr. Curtis Damien of Millington, TN, as well as Ms. Stephanie Lazenby, CTA, CXT and consumer member Mr. Rob Ailey.
