TN Chiropractic Association Participates in National ChiroCares Giving Back Day, May 19

Nashville, TN – May 14, 2020 – The Tennessee Chiropractic Association (TCA) and its members across the state will proudly participate in National ChiroCares Giving Back Day (#CHIROCARES2020) on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Through this initiative, doctors from coast to coast and across Tennessee will join together in spirit to support their local communities through various acts of service during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Founded by the ChiroCongress which represents chiropractic state associations, #CHIROCARES Day was organized to serve as a demonstration of the commitment of the chiropractic profession to assist their patients and local community in achieving good health at this critical time of need.

In addition to the care provided daily to their patients, doctors of chiropractic and their staff will take part in focused efforts to help boost positivity, compassion and general well-being in their local communities.  Give backs will include activities such as giving blood, thanking first responders and front-line workers, donating and making PPE, hosting food bank drives and other ways to help the unique needs of their communities.

May 19, 2020 marks the first-ever ChiroCares annual event.  Moving forward, every May 19 will be designated as National ChiroCares Giving Back Day as a way for doctors of chiropractic to join in helping those in their local communities.

“We know our doctors are engaged throughout the year in their communities in many different ways,” says TCA Executive Director and ChiroCongress District III Director Tiffany Stevens.  “With the continuing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, along with the losses that many suffered due the storms this spring in our state, now, more than ever, we felt it was a good time to join together to serve our neighbors.”

Throughout the pandemic, doctors of chiropractic have taken extra steps to safely and effectively treat their patients in need of care.  Many people look to chiropractors to not only treat back and neck pain, but to help them improve their general health and well-being.

“I’m proud to be a part of this national initiative,” says TCA President Dr. Brock Martin who practices in Huntingdon, TN.  “It’s a great opportunity to show our care for our neighbors beyond the walls of our clinic, and it’s exciting to think of how our collective efforts will benefit our state and country through each local act of service.”
