Chiropractic Staff Awarded Inaugural TNChiroFoundation Scholarships
The TNChiroFoundation, dedicated to advancing chiropractic care, education, and research, is thrilled to announce the recipients of its first-ever Chiropractic Therapy Assistant (CTA) and Chiropractic X-Ray Technician (CXT) scholarships. This initiative underscores our commitment to ensuring every Tennessean has access to the highest standard of chiropractic services, fostering a healthier and more vibrant community.
CTA scholarship recipient Allie Kelley has been involved in educating and supporting new families for the last several years obtaining multiple certifications including Certified Lactation Counselor, Child Passenger Safety Technician and Certified Babywearing Educator. Additionally, she has volunteered with Postpartum Support International both as a state coordinator and an Army resource coordinator. “I plan to continue to further my knowledge on how chiropractic care can support the entire family so I can continue to educate new families on the importance of whole-body health and maintaining regular chiropractic appointments,” Ms. Kelley states, “Together we can help change families’ lives for the better one adjustment at a time!”
Driven by her interest in understanding the musculoskeletal system and how it relates to overall health, CXT scholarship recipient Courtney Williams, CTA, studied Kinesiology in college. Since taking a position at Morter Family Chiropractic, she has also completed CTA licensure. Mrs. Williams’ desire in seeking CXT licensure is to gain knowledge and skills not only to perform X-Rays safely and effectively, but also to communicate more effectively with patients and colleagues. She states that providing patients with better education about wellness and improving quality of life, “can allow us to play a significant role in mitigating the impact of chronic diseases, enhancing patient outcomes, and contributing to a more sustainable and effective healthcare system.”
The TNChiroFoundation is proud to support the bright future of chiropractic care through this annual scholarship program.
