SUMMARY:2020 Southern Chiropractic Conference Cancelled - 2021 Dates Set
DESCRIPTION:Due to circumstances beyond our control and after careful consideration\, the TCA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Southern Chiropractic Conference (SCC).  This decision came after a thorough review of the current health risk\, participation interest\, speakers’ commitment\, restricting guidelines\, legal and financial status and how these impact our ability to host the upcoming Southern Chiropractic Conference as scheduled for August. \nWe will be contacting those who had pre-registered with more information and options soon. \nThe TCA is working to schedule additional opportunities for education to accommodate the CE needs for those ready to meet in 2020\, including multiple formats for new licensees (more information coming soon).  Your safety\, when attending TCA events continues to be our number one priority.  TCA seminars are the only CE events whose proceeds all go back directly to promote and protect chiropractic in Tennessee.  Rest assured that whenever you choose to obtain your CE\, the TCA will be there with the utmost in health and safety standards and the high-quality\, educational experience you deserve!

SUMMARY:Fundamentals of Dry Needling
DESCRIPTION:CLASS IS FULL!\nThank you for registering!\n\n12 hours DC CE available\nExpand your treatment options in a single day in a way that will serve your patients well and enhance your income for the rest of your career! There is simply no other seminar like this in our profession.  This is a unique opportunity available to Tennessee chiropractic physicians. \nThis seminar qualifies Tennessee Chiropractic Physicians to begin practicing Dry Needling immediately.  This course is the only course that has been specifically written to prepare Tennessee chiropractors to be qualified for dry needling.  You will learn the WHY\, HOW\, WHO\, WHEN and MORE. \nWhy use dry needling?  This treatment procedure can bring about significant change in your patient’s health and abilities in ways that other treatment\, including chiropractic adjustments\, cannot.  Learn how to enhance the benefits of your adjustments.  Learn how to solve chronic pain problems that have plagued patients for years or even decades. \nHow do you perform dry needling?  This seminar will teach you how to use this technique safely\, quickly and effectively.  No other course provides this unique combination of techniques.  Specifically\, you will be completely confident you are doing dry needling safely.   You will learn the typical dry needling technique PTs are taught\, as well as a very special and powerful superficial approach that is not taught in any other course. \nNEW:  Have you heard of the “new organ” that researchers are talking about\, the “interstitium”?  This new organ has important relevance to those that are trained in advanced dry needling!  In the Fundamentals course participants will be introduced to the value of the new organ\, the interstitium and what role it can play in dry needling.  Physicians taking the Dr. Kestner Advanced Dry Needling course will now learn about how the interstitium is your key to greatly enhancing the effectiveness of dry needling procedures. \nWho can benefit from dry needling?  A majority of your patients are ideal candidates for dry needling.  However\, it is not recommended for everyone.  Dr. Mark Kestner has been practicing needling of various methodologies for more than 20 years on thousands of patients and has seen first-hand that some patients are NOT good candidates. \nWhen is the best time to provide dry needling?  How often?  For how long? How many times?  Learn valuable concepts about timing and utilization of this important procedure. \nNEW:  Learn reliable protocols for frequently encountered complaints.    You will leave with a set of protocols to use for most situations that arise in your office.
