DESCRIPTION:After careful consideration and comprehensive evaluation of currently available information related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and in response to newly-released guidance regarding events\, the Tennessee Chiropractic Association has made the decision to reschedule our  this class.  The new dates are:  June 27-28\, 2020.\nBest Practices for Managing LBP and Lower Extremity Disorders \n\n\n\nInstructor:  Dr. Tim Bertelsman \nDr. Bertelsman’s practical presentation begins with a discussion of the real-world “best practice” evaluation and management of common lumbar structural pathology.  The class will progress to review five commonly overlooked “functional” problems that delay NMS recovery.  In one way or another\, these functional diagnoses contribute to many\, if not all\, of the lumbar structural diagnoses.  The presentation concludes by reviewing a classification system for low back pain to direct treatment and improve clinical outcomes.\n \nThis is the third of five 10-hour classes to fulfill the 50 hours of live training required for University of Bridgeport’s Diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics program.  This event is also a part of the TCA Spring Seminar.

This is the 4th of 5 TN live classroom sessions.)\n \nThis course will provide the foundation of laser therapy and its applications to chronic conditions typically encountered in a chiropractic clinic.  Participants will learn how to best use therapeutic lasers in the different stages of tissue healing to maximize immediate pain relief and achieve long-term resolution.  Dr. Marquina will address acute and chronic pain and dysfunctions in all tissues including muscle\, ligament\, skin\, nerve\, and bone.
