CXT Training Course (Weekend 2)
October 12 @ 8:00 am - October 13 @ 3:00 pm
Two weekend sessions (Sept. 28-29 and Oct. 12-13) for a total of 26 classroom hours and a 22-hour distance learning component. Attendance at each session is required. Applicants must have an email address, computer access, and internet service to complete all requirements. All classroom and distance learning work must be completed before course credit is allowed.
Educational sessions will provide participants with a fundamental knowledge of the nature and production of x-rays, along with radiation protection, radiographic techniques, patient care and positioning, equipment maintenance, radiographic anatomy, x-ray quality control, and instruction on Tennessee statues and rules pertaining to the chiropractic x-ray technologist. A primary objective of this seminar will be to prepare participants to obtain a radiograph with the greatest amount of clinical benefit and with the least possible risk to both the patient and the operator.
The CXT 48-Hour Program registration fee is $1200 (includes all materials and ACRRT textbook).
A separate ACRRT Exam fee is $165.
Both registration and exam fees must be paid in full prior to the first day of training.
We are pleased to announce that students of previous CXT classes have consistently achieved a high pass rate; however, success in the CXT course is not guaranteed. Persons considering a career as a CXT should be dedicated to rigorous study over the three week period.
If interested, please return the full CXT application to the TCA office by fax at (615) 383-6233, by mail to 2123 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37204 or by email to TCA@tnchiro.com. The deadline to return all materials with payment to the TCA for this course is September 13, 2019. If sufficient registration is not received by this dates, the course will be cancelled. This will ensure that your placement in this program is confirmed.
