‘Keep Moving’ During TN and National Chiropractic Health Month

TCA Members Participate in TN and National Public Health Awareness Campaign

The Tennessee Chiropractic Association (TCA) is joining chiropractors nationwide and all across the the Volunteer State this October to observe Chiropractic Health Month (CHM).  During the month-long observance declared by TN Gov. Bill Lee, doctors of chiropractic will encourage the public to “Keep Moving” in order to maintain musculoskeletal health and function in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.  (View the TN CHM Proclamation here.)

Many have learned the hard way over the past year that lack of movement and physical activity can lead not only to weight gain but also achy joints and other musculoskeletal conditions. Movement is the answer!

Finding ways to move our bodies more enhances not only our physical health and stamina but also our mental health and feelings of well-being. Taking care of our health, staying active and keeping a positive outlook help us all to keep moving through challenging times.

We are proud that Governor Bill Lee has declared October as Chiropractic Health Month in Tennessee encouraging public awareness of the benefits of chiropractic care and its natural, whole-person, patient-centered and drug-free approach to health and wellness.

To celebrate, the TCA, its members and doctors of chiropractic nationwide will encourage people to “Keep Moving!” and striving to add more movement into their day.

During TN and Nat’l CHM 2021, chiropractors will share information on the benefits of movement, recommended physical activity levels, injury-prevention tips and advice on how people can incorporate more movement into their daily lives.
