Day on the Hill - Tues., April 24th
Directions to Legislative Plaza

Late yesterday afternoon we were notified the House Health Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 17th, our “Day on the Hill”, has been cancelled due to a backlog of items in sub-committee. As of today all items that were originally scheduled for full House Health Committee have been rescheduled for the following Tuesday, April 24th. Unfortunately, the committee schedule is out of our control. While we understand that those of you who have made sacrifices to attend this Tuesday will be inconvenienced, the impact of your presence in front of the full Committee is critical.

That is why we have decided to postpone our “Day on the Hill” to Tues., April 24th. All “Day on the Hill” meeting times will remain the same. We ask that if you have made appointments with your legislators that you reschedule them accordingly.

Please make every effort to attend on April 24th. If you cannot attend on the new date and have scheduled appointments with your local legislators this Tuesday, please keep these original appointments. Personal meetings with your legislators have a stronger impact than any lobbying on our part.

We realize that we are still fighting an uphill battle, but we cannot give up. The efforts you are making have not gone unnoticed. Please attend this important event and help us spread the word.
